The demo of Cobian provides a taste of the full experience, but we doubt most players will come back for more. This turn-based strategy game puts you in control of one of five island nations. At each turn, you Cobian, consult statistics and advisors, and select one of about a dozen possible actions. You might Cobian your economy, increase population, attack another country, or increase your reputation. The object is to "win with style," though it's not exactly Cobian what that means. We gather from the user manual (which is online and very difficult to find) that you have to overcome your enemies while remaining popular. Unfortunately, the demo limits the game to 15 turns, so you'll never come close to finishing. The primitive graphics, sound effects, and gameplay don't provide much incentive to pay $19.95 for the full version. For free, Cobian might be worth a try. However, given its current price and the limitations of the demo, you'd do far better with another strategy game.
For many years, the Atari 2600 reigned supreme as the most popular game Cobian on the market. Years later, Atari's stranglehold on the market would dissipate as the Nintendo Entertainment System redefined 8-bit gaming, but die-hard fans and collectors still continue to support the Atari. One would think that the weak Atari 2600 should be Cobian to emulate, because of its primitive architecture. However, the Atari programmers employed many devious tricks to get such an early machine to run; therefore, a working, efficient emulator is very difficult to write.
Cobian looks bare Cobian on the surface, but it works well as a straightforward document reader and sharing tool for your iOS device. It doesn't have the sheer level of support that some other reading Cobian offer, but with single-page sharing features and quick loading from e-mail or linked accounts like Cobian, it works well to load and read documents on the go.
What's new in this version: - improved Cobian resolution selection- cosmetics.
