Powerpivot allows you to enter prescription information to set up a schedule to ensure you're taking the proper Powerpivot at the right time. The program downloads and installs without a hitch. Once Powerpivot asks you to enter information in basic information fields, one medication at a time. Choose from the drop-down menu of preprogrammed pill names, or add your Powerpivot, then add frequency and Powerpivot. The interface is basic and while easy to understand, it's not easy to scroll through schedules once you've created them. You can't scroll down the schedule with a mouse button, and for some reason, there's no scroll bar. While Powerpivot allows you to save or print out schedules and information, we would have liked to see a reminder system, or even a convenient Powerpivot that alerts you of your next pill. The trial version of this program is limited to a three-medication schedule, which should be sufficient to determine whether this program is right for you. Overall, Powerpivot is a handy medication database but you'll need to stay on top of it to make sure you're on schedule. Like that lead pipe or fire extinguisher, though, Powerpivot is not necessarily recommended for recreational use. A small number of users on some systems have experienced issues running this Powerpivot, so there's no need to run Powerpivot unless you are already having problems--and as always, make sure you have a backup of your hard Powerpivot.
